Services

  • Standard Sessions are 50min in duration.

Typically the initial consultation is comprised over two sessions of 50min, or a 90min session to allow time for a thorough clinical interview and assessment to assist our treatment goals.

If you would like a Medicare rebate, you will need to acquire a Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, and this will provide you with a rebate for 10 sessions each calendar year.

The current rebate in NSW is  $96.65 per session, and my fee is currently $220 for a general consultation, and $250 for an initial 50min consultation, or $330 for a 90min initial consultation.

For an ADHD assessment session it involves a pre ASRS screening assessment, a structured clinical interview and a report for $350.

What does counselling involve?

  • Allowing yourself to be heard.

  • Understanding your emotions, thoughts and behaviours, how they intersect, and where they come from.

  • Clinical assessment through both self-report and interview in order to understand:

    a) what mental health symptoms may be present

    b) whether your symptoms meet criteria for a diagnosis

    c) understand its severity compared to percentile norms of the population.

  • Form treatment plans to help you manage your unique mental health journey.

    Services I do not provide:

    Court mandated counselling
Therapeutic outcomes in the modalities I prescribe to are dependent on a client who is self-motivated to apply themselves to therapeutic tasks. I will not provide a court document for anyone I have not had a therapeutic relationship with before the legal issue ensued.

    Secondary Referrals
I will only see a client who has self-referred, and I will not accept a booking from another party.

    Child Counselling
My area of focus applies to primarily to adult clients 16 years and above.
